Sherri Van Dorn Fischer “Community Blood Bank really saved my
life. Without the blood donations during my cancer
treatment, I would not be a success story. I
probably received 30 to 40 pints of blood during the
eight-month period of my treatment. Last year,
during my illness, my family put together a blood drive
and we hosted it at my church to help repay all of the
blood that I had used. And now we've come back to
have the second annual Van Dorn Fischer blood drive, and
it is our hope that we can continue to do this every
single year.”
