Be a blood bank volunteer...
Our volunteers are the helping hands that keep patients at our hospitals alive. We provide blood to the U.S. Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms, Hi-Desert Medical Center, Palo Verde Hospital, JFK Memorial Hospital and Eisenhower Medical Center.
Join us and help your community. Give us any amount of volunteer time you can.

Quick blood facts 76% of Americans assume that blood will be available to them when needed. 72% vastly underestimate the demand for blood and 70% do not know how long blood can be stored, if it all. Within hours, our local blood inventory can dip into a fragile state. Nationwide, only 5% of eligible people donate. Here in the Coachella Valley, Hi-Desert area, Blythe and San Gorgonio area it is only 3%. Elective surgeries at our local hospitals may be postponed or even cancelled due to a lack of blood. |
